Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman became the owner of the most expensive in the world real estate – a palace in the style of Louis XIV in France. Built in 2011, the palace is literally punctuated with modern amenities, but it looks exactly like the style of a noble castle of the 17th century. The castle cost the buyer $ 300 million.
The castle, built in 2011, is exactly stylized as a noble nest of the XVII century – but only with modern additions. In addition to the wine cellar and the moat with ornamental carps, there is a home theater and a room for watching the underwater world. Prince did not want to advertise his purchase, so the acquisition was made through several firms, “gaskets.” Only an investigation conducted by New York Times journalists made it possible to establish the true buyer of the castle.
