In the Indonesian province of South Sulawesi, a tribe called Torajan lives. Every year they spend an eerie rite, during which they drag the corpses of their deceased relatives out of the coffins.According to the Torajan, relations between relatives do not end after the death of one of the members of the family, but continue after death. Torajan for a very long time keep the bodies of deceased relatives at home before burying them in a coffin. But even there the corpses do not lie for long. Once a year they are taken out and dressed up for an important holiday – Harvest Day.
