A mega-iceberg nearly the size of Abkhazia is about to break away from Antarctica

Pictures taken from the CryoSat and Sentinel-1 satellites of the European Space Agency (ESA) indicate that Antarctica, specifically from the Antarctica’s Larsen C ice shelf, is about to break a giant iceberg. Mega-iceberg, as specialists called it. The area of the ice field will be 6000 square kilometers – almost from Abkhazia (8600 sq. Km) or two Adzharia (2899 sq. Km).
